Cas'Amaro - State-of-the-art wine tourism
The story of Cas’Amaro is very recent, beginning in 2016 when Paulo Amaro bought a 4.5 hectare property in Aldeia Galega da Merceana, in Alenquer, to create a wine tourism project.
Cas’Amaro arose from the combination of two passions, art and wine, which represent the common denominators of the inspirations we saw there.
Paulo Amaro’s initial plan was to restore the old wine cellar on the property and turn it into a boutique hotel. As a result, the project grew in size, firstly with the production of wines, which already extends to five regions, and also in the area of wine tourism.
