detail
History of AdegaMãe
AdegaMãe is located in the wine-growing sub-region of Lisbon, famous for its fresh wines thanks to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
Founded in 2011 by the Riberalves Group, a company inspired by the name of their sons, Ricardo and Bernardo Alves, a reference in the codfish sector, AdegaMãe is the fruit of a family’s passion for wine and the land. The name is a tribute to the figure of the mother as a symbol of origin, of creation – just as wine is born from the earth with care and dedication.
With a contemporary architectural design by Pedro Mateus, the winery building combines functionality, beauty and integration with the beautiful landscape. It is an example of how tradition can coexist with modernity in perfect harmony.

The AdegaMãe offers experiences for those who want to learn more about the world of wine – from guided tours of production to moments of pure pleasure with breathtaking views of the vineyards.

Picnics in the vineyard
One of the most enchanting experiences offered by AdegaMãe are picnics in the vineyards. A gourmet basket of local produce accompanied by a bottle of wine in a stunning setting among the vineyards.
Restaurant with panoramic views
“Sal na Adega”. This is the name of the AdegaMãe restaurant, a stage for interpreting traditional Portuguese cuisine in harmony with elegant, fresh and mineral wines from the Atlantic terroir.
Cod, the greatest symbol of Portuguese gastronomy, plays an important role in the menu at the Sal na Adega restaurant, but other traditional and seasonal products from the land and our coast are also valued.
The restaurant’s panoramic view of the vineyards elevates any meal to a complete sensory experience.

O restaurante orientado para a vista panorâmica sobre as vinhas eleva qualquer refeição a uma experiência sensorial completa.
Wine Bar
For something more informal, the wine bar offers a selection of wines by the glass accompanied by regional snacks. A perfect place to relax at sunset with a breathtaking view.

Private and Corporate Events
The AdegaMãe is also a favourite venue for weddings, birthdays and corporate events. With several multipurpose rooms and a catering service, everything can be customised to the hosts’ tastes.
