in <\/span><b>Bucelas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> approximately <\/span><b>25 kilometres from Lisbon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Acquired in 1983 by Caves Velhas, which later became part of the Enoport Wine Group, the estate is part of the Bucelas Demarcated Region, known as the <\/span><b>&#8220;capital&#8221; of the Arinto grape variety<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The property covers a total area of 45 hectares, of which 32.5 are dedicated to vineyards, with clay-limestone soils and altitudes between 87 and 180 Travelling by car from the Portuguese capital takes around 45 minutes via the A8 motorway in the direction of Torres Vedras.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Founded in 1956, Adega S\u00e3o Mamede da Ventosa is a winegrowing cooperative that stands out as one of the largest in the country. Initially comprising around 200 members, the cooperative has grown significantly over the decades and currently includes approximately 480 members, with a vineyard area extending over 2,000 hectares. Its average annual production reaches 20 million litres of wine, making it the highest-producing wine cooperative at the national
