The story of Cas’Amaro is very recent, beginning in 2016 when Paulo Amaro bought a 4.5 hectare property in Aldeia Galega da Merceana, in Alenquer, to create a wine tourism project.<\/span><\/p>
Cas’Amaro arose from the combination of two passions, art and wine, which represent the common denominators of the inspirations we saw there.<\/span><\/p>
Paulo Amaro’s initial plan was to restore the old wine cellar on the property and turn it into a boutique hotel.
